Lissette ("Liz") is a seasoned event management and operations specialist, with ten years of experience across the non-profit and private sectors. At Confluence Philanthropy, Liz assists with the organization of member events and Confluence’s annual conferences, in addition to managing many of the office’s day-to-day operations.
Her career has included serving as the Meetings and Events Coordinator at the New York Academy of Sciences and as a Conference Coordinator at Opal Group, where she managed symposia and programs across the U.S. and internationally.
Liz holds a B.A. from the Jay College of Criminal Justice. She is a fluent Spanish speaker and a music enthusiast. She enjoys concerts, discovering new artists, or simply enjoying her favorite tunes.
